This is your chance to reshape an industry from the inside, not by following playbooks, but by writing new ones.<br/><br/><b>About Your Future Role</b></p> <p>In this position, you will:</p> <ul> <li><b>Lead commercial deals from origination to closure across Europe, focusing on Tier 1 banks and large financial institutions</b></li> <li><b>Build and manage a strong pipeline</b> of complex, high-value opportunities across the digital payments ecosystem</li> <li><b>Engage with senior stakeholders</b> including Heads of Payments, Cards, and Retail Product leaders to identify needs and craft tailored solutions</li> <li><b>Structure complex, cross-border commercial deals</b>, supporting local sales teams while collaborating with internal functions such as Legal, Risk, Marketing, and Product</li> <li><b>Translate emerging payment technologies and trends into business impact</b>, guiding client strategy and adoption</li> <li><b>Act as a trusted advisor</b>, shaping solutions that connect innovation with commercial outcomes</li> <li><b>Drive go-to-market strategy</b> through market feedback and partner engagement</li> </ul> <p><b>What Makes You a Great Fit</b></p> <p>We'd like you to have/be:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience <b>in B2B sales</b> in the payments or card issuing space, with a <b>proven focus on Tier 1 banks and financial institutions</b></li> <li>Proven success in winning and managing <b>multimillion-euro deals across European banking networks</b></li> <li>Strong relationships with decision-makers in <b>retail and corporate banking</b>, with the ability to influence complex buying groups</li> <li>Deep understanding of card ecosystems, payment infrastructures, regulatory frameworks, and emerging fintech technologies</li> <li>Skilled in value-based selling, partner enablement, and strategic go-to-market execution</li> <li>Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong plus</li> <li>Commercial acumen matched with a multicultural, transformation-oriented mindset</li> <li><b>Located near our office in Eschborn, Frankfurt</b> with willingness to travel across Europe</li> </ul><b>Bonus Skills</b> <ul> <li>Experience at a <b>payments processor, issuing platform, or B2B fintech provider</b></li> <li>Exposure to <b>Cards-as-a-Service (CaaS)</b> and digital wallet/tokenization platforms</li> <li>Italian or additional European language proficiency</li> <li>Experience working in <b>matrixed, international environment</b></li> </ul> <p><b>Discover Life at Nexi</b><br/> We’re an international team of 10,000+ people across 25 countries, united by shared ambition and a passion for innovation.
