The engineer will work with the new product development team to characterize and production test a wide range of high speed and precision signal chain products targeted toward Instrumentation and Automated Test Equipment (ATE)applications. The test development engineer will be working as part of a project team comprised of members from disciplines such as marketing, design, product, assembly, quality, wafer foundry and application engineering to bring a product concept to a released mass production solution. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual and fast learner with strong technical, analytical and communication skills.</p><p>The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual and fast learner with strong technical, analytical and communication skills.</p><p></p><p><b>Role and Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Development of innovative, reliable and efficient Probe and Test solutions on high performance mixed-signal ATE platforms for multisite parallel testing of a range of integrated circuit products.</li><li>Execution of the Test Development Process including the development phases of Silicon Functionality, Sampling, Characterization, Qualification, Yield Analysis and Offshore Production release to the manufacturing test sites.</li><li>Work with design engineers in defining & developing test methodologies, test plans and DFT/BIST to maximise test coverage, reduce FFC and improve testability.</li><li>Implement pre-tapeout verification of test solutions using Design Simulation tools.</li><li>Define test schematics and work with layout engineers in the design of Printed Circuit Boards hardware for Probe and Test solutions.</li><li>Define production test limits and datasheet specifications based on characterization data and production test gauge R&R studies.</li><li>Confirm complete test coverage of the datasheet with statistical significance to ensure product meets all manufacturing requirements.</li><li>Debugging and correlating production test solutions to engineering bench measurements, and transferring production test solutions to high-volume manufacturing sites. </li><li>Engage and Support manufacturing sites to maintain production yield and high quality.</li><li>Manage and maintain project schedules and costs that align with the product targets.</li><li>May participate in customer or training related visits (Travel 10%)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Skills and Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>BS or MS degree in EE or ECE. Typically requires minimum of 3 years related and progressive experience with semiconductor IC's.</li><li>Strong analytical skills. Ability to solve complex problems through design of appropriate experiments and analysis of complex data.</li><li>Wide experience with evaluating and measuring digital, analog and mixed signal devices and circuits.</li><li>Strong ATE program development skills ideally with Teradyne/Eagle or National Instruments.</li><li>Application experience of software languages ideally in VB, C/C++/C# and LabVIEW.</li><li>History of mixed signal PCB design and associated CAD/Simulation tools.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, <span>Outlook). Performing</span> statistical data analysis using Excel or other data tools.</li><li>Strong teamwork, inter-personal and communication skills are essential coupled with demonstrated ability to work at a high level of performance both independently and in large multi-discipline development teams spanning multip
