Responsibilities

Responsibilities:  - Prepare financial analysis on companies to assist in the preparation of valuation  - Analyze client financial data to identify trends and operational characteristics  - Conducting economic and industry-specific research  - Gather additional market data relevant to the valuation process   - Assist with preparing valuation reports  - Prepare presentations for prospects and existing clients  - Provide a variety of ad hoc project assistance  What You will Gain:  - Experience the Wipfli Way first hand while working side by side with professionals from all levels of the firm  - Develop experience and skills to become a trusted business advisor for clients and associates  - Gain hands-on experience in accounting work, and related software applications  - Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team to support client engagements  - Gain exposure to a variety of clients and industries ranging from small businesses to large corporations  - Develop administrative, professional, and interpersonal skills to the extent of being able to organize, analyze, and communicate with others in a productive and efficient manner  - This is a paid internship and can be used for school credit if applicable

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Qualifications:   - Pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics or related field  - Above average competency in accounting as demonstrated by college GPA; Minimum 3.0 GPA   - Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize own work effectively  - Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines   - Ability to balance projects simultaneously  - Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and staff   - Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills  - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
