Business Operations Professional/Scrum Master - Clearance Required

LMI is seeking a Business Operations Professional with Scrum Master experience to support client activities across the Hosting and Compute Center (HaCC) at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). *Active Secret clearance required for this position. This position allows for primarily remote work with an in-person requirement of approximately once a month in Crystal City, VA*

Responsibilities

The candidate will support developers and domain experts to implement IT solutions in support of the Department of Defense by providing business operations support for HaCC and the Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC) activities.

• Work with geographically dispersed geographically diverse project team(s), including internal customers and vendor staff, on technology-focused projects to ensure adherence to Agile principles
• Support Business Analysts in the development and analysis of business requirements (user stories using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints) 
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment and prioritize functionality and ensure Product Owners are fully engaged and supporting efforts to drive development forward
• Ensure interaction and appropriate communication between scrum teams, architecture, system engineers, UX teams, and other stakeholders
• Collect and report progress metrics on a regular basis

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

• Active Secret Clearance
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, management information systems, engineering, or a related field
• Experience working in a consultant / client environment
• Ability to manage multiple teams and product roadmaps, recognize and remove impediments, identify and mitigate risks, escalate issues as appropriate, and proven expertise in directing the efforts of a technical team
• Knowledge of business functions and business operations, strategies, and objectives
• Ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance is required for this position, for which you must be a US citizen. Applicants selected for this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. 
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with release planning and tracking and Agile using test driven development, automated testing, and continuous integration environments

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Experience with distributed development teams which span multiple geographies, time zones, and cultures
• Certifications: One or more Agile certifications such as PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Scrum Alliance, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead an agile development team
