The Business Office Manager at Marycrest supports smooth and efficient operations within our Assisted Living and Independent Living community. Working closely with the Administrator/Executive Director, this role oversees all business office activities—such as billing, reimbursement, financial reporting, and payment collections—to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong financial performance.
This position plays an important part in creating a positive experience for residents and families by providing clear communication, dependable support, and well‑organized administrative processes. The Business Office Manager helps keep the community running smoothly so residents can focus on enjoying a safe, comfortable, and engaging place to live.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
Knowledge of insurance and billing procedures; Medicare/Medicaid experience preferred.
Experience in long‑term care or working with older adults preferred.
Prior supervisory experience helpful.
Strong customer service skills and professional behavior.
Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Self‑motivated with a high level of energy and initiative.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic email/calendar systems; accurate typing skills.
Strong accountability, decision‑making ability, and organizational skills.
Ability to plan, organize, and carry out administrative procedures effectively.
