Business Development Representative

Resilia is looking to hire a Business Development Representative (BDR) to increase the number of 1st sales meetings booked for the Enterprise sales team. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for developing and implementing research-based outbound sales strategies to identify and engage potential partners. The role will report directly to our Director of Sales Enablement, Don Torrance.
What to Expect:
- First Week: You will receive a 30-60-90 day onboarding plan, get set up with all the technologies that support your work in a remote environment, and start to meet other Resilians.
- First Month: You will complete onboarding, become comfortable with all of your core technology tools, and begin outreach to funders (also known as, potential clients).
- First Six Months: You should achieve consistent, week over week (WoW) successes in meeting or exceeding your goals for booking 1st Calls for Account Executives. You will learn how to effectively communicate the value Resilia brings to our ideal clients.
- First Year: You will seek to achieve at or above your quarterly booked meeting goals, identify new and innovative tactics the BDR team can implement to enable the Enterprise sales team to meet their annual revenue goals, and become a thought partner who works seamlessly alongside and hands off high-quality leads to Account Executives.
Requirements
- You are a changemaker who wants to make history in the tech for good space by helping Resilia, a for profit venture-backed SaaS company, reach its next stage of growth and impact
- You have some experience in sales, fundraising, and/or marketing and want to build a career in sales
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills — we'll ask you to complete a short writing exercise
- You're a self-starter who is motivated to and persistent in the quest to produce results in a fast paced environment
- You're a team player who is excited to collaborate closely with colleagues on a day-to-day basis
- You have a customer-first attitude combined with an ability to build rapport and establish trust in an authentic manner
- You are a lifelong learner who takes a positive, inquisitive approach to giving and receiving feedback
- You'll stand out if you have any level of experience with CRM systems, nonprofits, and/or philanthropy,
- You are interested in a remote role that may require occasional travel for team retreats
