As a Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH.The Business Management organization supports senior leaders across technology, providing a broad, strategic view into key areas such as risk, security, fraud, and program/project management. The Business Analytics Consultant plays a critical role in delivering insights, building executive‑level reporting, and supporting decision-making through advanced data visualization and analysis.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical capability with curiosity, initiative, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and reporting—primarily in Tableau—to support executives and senior leadership.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to identify insights related to technology risk, security, fraud, and program/project performance.
• Manipulate, clean, and model data using tools such as SQL, R, and Python.
• Support requests that require quick turnaround, creativity, and ability to figure out new approaches independently.
• Translate complex information into clear, executive‑ready visualizations and summaries.
• Collaborate with business partners across technology to gather requirements and ensure reporting accuracy and alignment.
• Maintain awareness of emerging analytics tools, techniques, and best practices; continuously learn and adopt new approaches.
• Exercise sound judgment and attention to detail in delivering data‑driven recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong experience with Tableau (preferred).
• Proficiency with SQL, R, and/or Python for data manipulation, data modeling, and automation.
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to build intuitive, insightful data visualizations and dashboards.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with frequent quick-turnaround requests.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts for senior stakeholders.

Job Description
- Leverages analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit to create data driven solutions.
- Recommending appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
- Analyzing and processing data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.
- Providing business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from, data processing, and data analysis.
- Consulting on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools and data marts.
