Job Description

We are looking for a Business Affairs Coordinator to join the Publicis Groupe’s PXP Studios’ Business Affairs team. You will collaborate across various teams, including production, social media, and finance, to ensure a seamless production process and final delivery of assets. You have attention to detail, are ready to learn and be challenged, and can think proactively and outside of the box.

  • Assist with stock and music licensing, including vendor quotes and payment processing.
  • Partner with production teams to process talent payments. 
  • Track usage rights, including talent, music, and other third-party agreements.
  • Set up new vendors, generate purchase orders, process invoices, and track vendor payments throughout the production process.
  • Update and maintain approved vendor list.
  • Create project-specific bids and collect agency purchase orders.
  • Support team in creation of standard production agreements and releases.
  • Manage Film Tax Incentive coordination for production teams.
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of applicable experience (including internships) in an advertising agency or production company preferred but not required.
  • General understanding of production processes.
  • Excellent people skills: strong verbal and written skills are critical.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Possess characteristics of curiosity, resourcefulness, passion, initiative, and creativity.
  • Team-player attributes such as competency, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

Location and Commitments:

  • Full-time role, remote and part time in-person (New York, 3 days a week)

Additional Information

Compensation Range:  $35,000 - $52,000 annually.  This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
