Building Maintenance Worker / Lawncare

Location: Chattanooga Metropolitan Area Command – Chattanooga, Tennessee
Position: Seasonal Part Time – Building Maintenance Worker / Lawn Care
Pay Rate: $20.56/hour

About this opportunity:
Maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure neatness and cleanliness.
Key responsibilities:
• Performs basic lawncare such as mowing, weed eating, edging, weeding flowerbeds, mulching, sweeping, planting or trimming of bushes, etc.

• Pick up/removes trash/limbs, as necessary.

• Assists in maintaining all tools, supplies, parts, and lawncare equipment belonging to the Property Department.

• Performs other duties as assigned related to the facilities department
What we are looking for in you:
Education and Experience
• Good skill in the use of lawn equipment and performing lawncare l duties

Or

• Any equivalent combination of formal education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Certifications
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
• Ability to meet attendance requirements
• Manual dexterity
• Work is outside in heat or sun.
• Work requires the ability to lift and carry and push/pull heavy (50-100+) lb.) materials, supplies, and equipment frequently. Heavy mobility: duties are usually performed by combinations of standing, walking, climbing ladders or steps, bending, reaching, or transporting merchandise on a frequent change basis, relieved by fewer periods of sitting or operating a vehicle when traveling.
