Bridge Structures Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bridge Structures Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, and construction of bridge projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and a passion for delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with design teams, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Review and approve bridge design plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, codes, and safety guidelines.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the design phase.
• Manage construction activities, including bidding processes, contractor selection, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor construction progress, quality control, and adherence to project specifications.
• Resolve construction-related issues and mitigate risks to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Track project expenditures and maintain financial records.
• Optimize resource allocation and manage project budgets effectively.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement budget adjustments as necessary.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and presentations.
• Communicate project milestones, challenges, and solutions in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

• Must have previous ODOT (Ohio Department of Transportation) experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in bridge design as well as project management.
• Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, bridge design, and construction practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
