WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 

• Guide the implementation of data engineering solutions into Precis Marketing Science services and client environments, ensuring alignment with project objectives, Precis guidelines, and client expectations.

• Foster collaboration and partnership with Data Scientists and Client Services teams, effectively communicating technical requirements and insights to drive alignment towards common goals.

• Ensure client success and satisfaction by understanding client needs and objectives, proactively identifying opportunities to add value through data engineering solutions, and building strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders.

• Drive continuous improvement of Precis data engineering capabilities, best practices and internal processes.

• Keep current on industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of emerging technologies and tools for enhanced services reliability, efficiency, and quality.

• Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support in developing their technical competencies and professional growth within Precis.

• Define documentation standards and guidelines, overseeing the creation of comprehensive documentation for the Marketing Science team to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency within Precis.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

• Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL/ELT techniques, with a demonstrated ability to design and implement complex data pipelines.

• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud computing environments, with a proven track record of leveraging cloud technologies to drive business value.

• Proven experience overseeing project timelines and deliverables, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

• Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of effectively guiding and developing junior team members.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into innovative data engineering solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration competencies, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and client-facing roles.

• Proven track record of driving innovation and change.

• Experience in identifying revenue opportunities and contributing to the business strategy.
