Senior Auditor
The Senior Auditor will be part of the independent and objective global Audit Services team that assists Allegion fulfill its goals and objectives through independent reviews and assessments. The Senior Auditor will participate and support a variety of audit activities, such as evaluating design/operating effectiveness of internal controls across global operations and processes. The Senior Auditor will assist with the risk assessment, scoping, planning, execution, and reporting activities for engagements included in the annual Audit Plan. The Senior Auditor will join a team of talented and passionate professionals dedicated to the internal audit profession. The Senior Auditor will continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the control environment through consulting activities such as data analytics and process automation. The Senior Auditor will advise the global business on the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with corporate standards, policies and procedures.
What You Will Do:
- Assist the internal audit team execute the annual audit plan by leading various audits, reviews, and special projects.
- Partner and advise the SOX Compliance team to fulfill the Company's Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 annual compliance efforts.
- Lead special projects from planning through reporting utilizing a customer-focused approach to establish objectives, develop audit procedures, and ultimately report results to Executive Leadership.
- Become a trusted advisor to Management on company policy and internal control requirements.
- Partner with the business to improve control environment through data analytics and automation.
- Understand and gain exposure to all areas of the audit process including risk assessment, planning, internal controls testing, and reporting.
- Develop adequate technical knowledge in such areas as accounting, audit, information technology, cybersecurity, privacy, data analytics, digital transformation, ESG, and other areas as required.

What You Need to Succeed:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance required.
- 3+ years of relevant audit, finance, accounting experience (focus in global manufacturing environment is preferred).
- Professional certifications are strongly preferred (i.e., CPA, CIA, CISA, CMA, or ACA).
- Proven success with Data Analytics/Process Improvement is preferred.
- Preferred experience as a professional focused in internal audit, IIA Standards, internal control, SOX, change management, accounting operations/processes relevant to manufacturing entity, acquisitions and divestitures, project management, managing global, or multinational finance teams.
- Must be able to adapt to change quickly and master the learning curve of a continuously evolving organization.
- Must be a great team member who is ready to collaborate with internal audit team and cross functional business partners.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Results-oriented individual with demonstrated ability to plan and organize.
- Committed to personal development and professional growth
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 35-40% (dependent upon travel restrictions).
