In-House Paralegal - (REMOTE -USA)

THE ROLE:We are looking for an In-House Paralegal to support our growing organization. As FEVO’s Paralegal, you will provide professional legal support services and help manage the overall legal process ensuring timely processing of contract reviews and markups. This individual will be responsible for facilitating signatures on contracts; collaborating, optimizing and managing contract and workflow systems; and helping our business deliver fast and practical solutions to satisfy our company’s legal and compliance needs. This position requires a high level of organization with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required; Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
• Paralegal certificate required
• Minimum 3+ years experience in a paralegal role
• Investigative mind and strong research skills
• Working knowledge of legal database software, legal language/principles, and research methods
• Excellent organizational skills, including problem-solving and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgment
• Must be a strong team player with a proactive, meticulous and enthusiastic approach

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Provide professional legal support services, ensuring compliance and best practices
• Document management, including drafting, review and revision of commercial contracts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant legal requirements
• Responsible for managing the entire contract process, including planning, collaboration, negotiation and execution 
• Maintain subject matter expertise of applicable laws and regulations
• Gather and analyze research data, such as statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, and documents
• Work directly with Compliance on all compliance-related company initiatives
• Perform other general duties and functions as assigned or required by the department or business
