- 5 years of experience leading construction projects
- Familiarity with building systems
- Able to perform semi-complex mathematical operations

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Oversee scheduling of work in line with company goals, objectives and values across company locations
- Communicate and manage all issues and risks affecting the projects
- Communicate project status to project participants and internal departments accurately and on time
- Develop and implement solutions to correct any deviation and or conflict
- Lead and manage a large team of second-party professional A/E consultants to ensure effective project delivery
- Develop estimates and manage budgets for construction-related projects during the pre-construction phase
- Manage the site’s Due Diligence process to ensure that all development risks are identified and quantified
- Manage the approval and permitting phase of the pre-construction process and ensure approvals are in line with company requirements and timeline
- Maintain positive relationships with jurisdictions and planning commissions to ensure the same
- Manage the detailed design phase of the projects, ensuring strict adherence to corporate specifications and attention to cost management
- Managing the bidding, negotiation and construction contract process
- Monitor general contractor and vendor performance during the construction phase
- Manage project submittals, RFI’s and pay applications promptly
- Ensure that the projects are effectively handed over to the company operations group from the contractor with completed documentation and close-out documents
- Ensure that the projected capital expenditure is under constant review and that any anticipated deviations are highlighted and controlled
- Ensure that construction projects are in line with current environmental health & safety laws and internal company standards
- Use data to help improve decision-making and work to become more cost-effective
- Provide the highest level of customer service and be a technical resource for service center leaders
- Manage the contractor network for your assigned projects. Conduct quarterly performance reviews with contractors/ vendors and look to constantly improve on service levels
