About the role

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Technical Lead to be the crucial link between our product strategy and our engineering team. In this role, you will blend your deep technical understanding with sharp project management skills to guide features from initial concept all the way through to deployment. You'll be the central point of coordination, ensuring that we not only build things right, but that we also build the right things on schedule. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on orchestrating complex projects and is passionate about fostering efficiency and quality within a development team.

Your Day Might Include:

Planning and mapping out development timelines in collaboration with the product, design, and engineering teams.
Keeping project boards (like Jira, Linear, or ClickUp) meticulously up-to-date so everyone has a clear view of our progress.
Diving into new features to thoroughly validate that they meet all functional and technical requirements before they go live.
Collaborating on technical designs, from database schemas to API responses, and participating in code reviews to uphold our quality standards.
Acting as the go-to technical guide for the team, helping to remove any roadblocks that stand in their way.
Identifying opportunities to improve our workflows and helping the team prioritise work more effectively.

Requirements

What We Hope You Bring to the Table:

Project Leadership: Around 4-5 years of experience leading technical projects, with a talent for managing complex timelines and a deep proficiency in tools like Jira or ClickUp.
Full-Stack Technical Expertise: Solid, hands-on experience with our core stack (Node.js, NestJS, React.js, Next.js) and a strong grasp of how modern frontend and backend systems integrate.
A Commitment to Quality: A sharp eye for detail, demonstrated through your experience with API testing tools (Postman/Insomnia), browser dev tools, and robust code review processes.
An Architectural Mindset: Familiarity with system design concepts like mono repos or microservices and best practices for building scalable and secure applications (REST APIs, authentication, caching).

A Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to serve as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring everyone is aligned and moving forward together.
