About the team

We’re seeking a Sr. Analyst, Ads Forecasting Automation to join our team of talented forecasting & yield specialists that are working to maximize profitable revenue and provide best-in-class support for our platform business. This role will require strong analytical skills and a bias for action in a rapidly-changing, growing environment.

 

About the role

This position will report to the Director of Ad Forecasting & Inventory Analytics, as part of the larger Revenue Operations organization. This person will have the opportunity to help build out a reporting suite & drive strategic automation projects that focus on forecast accuracy & maximizing inventory utilization.

This is a full-time position and is based at our office in New York. For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $150,000 - $170,000 annually. 

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you'll be doing

  • Automation and streamlining of all holistic forecast reporting, including advancing insights into revenue, gross profit, and other key KPIs
  • Standardize, centralize, and define new metrics that provide Revenue Operations & Finance leadership information about the health of our ads business from an inventory and product perspective
  • Partner with leads across the Ad Forecasting & Inventory Analytics team to drive automation and dashboard consistency.
  • Work closely with Business Automation team to ensure that all current and future reporting requirements are met when developing new data tables
  • Create robust documentation and standard best practices for all dashboards that are leveraged within the team
  • Maintain an active roadmap of dashboard creation and enhancements to ensure visibility of current and backlogged projects
  • Partner with Financial Systems team to integrate reporting into tools such as Tableau & Anaplan
  • Maintain dashboards that are used for QBR and earnings
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to various internal teams as we explore the potential of new ad units, ad formats, and other business development initiatives that impact the AVOD ecosystem

 

We're excited if you have

  • At least 5-7 years of digital or TV Yield/Inventory experience.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Proficient in SQL and other query languages
  • Strong experience in advanced analytics tools such as Lookr, Tableau
  • Working knowledge of ad servers and Programmatic SSPs or DSPs.
  • Understanding of high-level Yield & Monetization strategy. Experience working on projects & rolling out initiatives and following through on their implementation.
