Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient care in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes and streamline operations.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field with a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in urgent care or primary care settings.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
