Summary:
The Healthy Schools, Healthy Communities lab requires support for the FY2026 Healthy Corners evaluation. The research assistants hired will be trained to complete data collection with two survey instruments, one each for the Healthy Corners intercept survey and the GusNIP participant survey, to achieve 200 completed surveys across 12 Healthy Corner Store locations. Research assistants will: receive training on proper survey administration; deploy to different healthy corner store locations with partners across DC’s Wards 5, 7, and 8; administer the required surveys to eligible customers; enter data into Qualtrics in a timely manner after collection; and assist with tabulating and analyzing results. The research assistants will also support report writing to a degree and drafting corresponding charts and report appendices.
Essential Functions:
Assist with Healthy Corners and GusNIP data collection, entry, review and analysis for the 2026 evaluation.
Deploy to different healthy corner store locations with partners across DC’s Wards 5, 7, and 8.
Administer the required surveys to eligible customers.
Enter data into Qualtrics in a timely manner after collection.
Assist with tabulating and analyzing results.
Other duties assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Part-time.
10 hours per week.
Salary Range:
$17.95 per hour.
