Overnight House Attendant

Overview

The Galleria Park Hotel has begun a search for an Overnight House Attendant. This role is responsible for Housekeeping duties, including but not limited to the following: 

• This position is to clean and supply public areas in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• This person is responsible for overall cleanliness of fitness floor, laundry facilities, and locker room(s).
• Deliver linen to all guest floor closets and stock accordingly
• Serve as a valet attendant as needed during shift. Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to drive manual transmission.

Hourly Rate is $28.50/hr two nights per week (11pm-7am shift) and must be available for other day shifts during the week.

Responsibilities

Review assignment sheet and update completed assignments. Check with Supervisor and Housekeeping office for additional assignments throughout the shift. Review assigned area and complete general removal of any trash or debris. Stock cleaning carts with designated supplies and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of closets; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor; remove non-floor closet items and transport to proper storage areas. Clean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbal and non-verbal. Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. Ability to follow directions thoroughly. Ability to understand guest’s service needs. Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. Possess a strong attention to detail.
