We are seeking a skilled Foundations Product Development and Tech Specialist to drive the development and innovation of bras and foundation garments. This role is essential for delivering cutting-edge solutions and ensuring our products exceed client and market expectations.

The Foundations Product Development and Tech Specialist will oversee the entire product development process for bras and foundation garments, from concept through production. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams. Additionally, the specialist will conduct market research and provide quarterly insights, identifying product opportunities and innovations that will enhance the product line. They will be responsible for preparing and presenting product concepts to clients throughout the year. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, have strong organizational skills, and possess deep knowledge of seamless bras, bonding, and other innovative foundation garment technologies.

Reports to: Divisional Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end development of bras and foundation garments, working closely with clients to meet their specific needs.
• Build and maintain comprehensive technical specifications, tech packs, and construction details using Adobe Illustrator.
• Lead fit sessions, providing precise fit comments and ensuring product consistency and quality.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis, presenting insights and identifying innovation opportunities for product development.
• Provide quarterly reports to internal teams on market trends and product opportunities, influencing future product lines and strategies.
• Develop product presentations for clients, showcasing new concepts and designs throughout the year.
• Collaborate with global offices and factories to manage samples, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to TNA (Time and Action) calendars.
• Leverage expertise in seamless bras, bonding technologies, and other bra innovations to enhance the company’s product offering.
• Work closely with account management and design teams to address seasonal product needs and client requests.
• Communicate effectively with overseas vendors and teams, ensuring that all technical aspects of product development are executed to specification.
• Report directly to the Divisional Head, while working out of the New York Office as an individual contributor driving product innovation.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in bra and foundations product development, design, or technical design.
• In-depth knowledge of seamless bras, bonding, and innovative technologies in the foundations space.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for creating detailed tech packs and specifications.
• Strong understanding of fit and construction processes, with experience conducting fit sessions and providing fit comments.
• Experience in market research and trend analysis with a proven ability to identify opportunities and present insights.
• Strong written communication skills for developing clear technical documentation and client-facing presentations.
• Experience working with global teams and managing sample production with overseas factories.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in both bra design and technical design in the foundations space.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and innovations in the foundations space.

Compensation/Benefits:

• The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $140,000.00. The offered salary or salary range for this position will vary based on role requirements, skill set and years of experience.
