About the Role
The Creator Acquisition, Retention and Programs (CAP) team owns the full cycle business relationships with the world's largest talent agencies and representation organizations that serve Twitch's top creators. We work with top agencies, managers and organizations on new deal generation and deal renewals for both prospective and current top partners.
The Operations Director position will support the Creator Acquisition, Retention and Programs team through management of data, analysis, and coordinating logistical processes to ensure creator contractual details are up-to-date. The OperationsDirector will be a project manager for strategic initiatives and will collaborate with Twitch's cross-functional teams such as accounting, finance, partner ops, partnerships, and legal. You will focus their daily efforts on tracking deal cycles, compiling internal data, and maintaining tracking documentation for pre/post process execution.
We are looking for an experienced team member with a passion for operational excellence, an ability to quickly build new functional processes to support a fast moving team and organization. You are a team player, have a business, financial or legal background, and can compile data from multiple sources to create a "source of truth" upon which the CAP team can rely.
You can work in Los Angeles,CA; Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA; New York, NY; and Salt Lake City, UT.
You Will:
- Manage your own deal roster of top creators, working with agencies, managers and top creator communities
- Develop systems and mechanisms to manage creator deals and contract terms to ensure scale as more contracts are accomplished and deals are renewed
- Lead the development of operational metrics around creator performance and scale to enhance the deal making process
- Research, suggest and implement improvements to existing operational processes to support the CAP's organizational growth and values
- Work across all departments to ensure information is correctly communicated
- Anticipate all the needs of the CAP team and work with other functional leads to problem solve, support, and drive strategic initiatives
- Partner with department heads/experts to support ongoing needs
- Assist and track deal memos, contract extensions, proposals, deal summaries and presentations
- Collaborate with finance, legal, accounting, partnerships and other partners
You Have:
- 7+ years of operations, analytics or financial strategy experience
- 7+ years experience in an internal facing role with a digital content distribution platform, content studio, MCN, talent agency or similar
- Expertise in building systems that are necessary to the success of the business
- Interpret and summarize enormous amounts data to support deal structuring
- Business modeling and strategic analysis experience with the ability to explain in simple terms
- Passion for entertainment and contracts
- Familiarity with the Twitch platform as either a user and broadcaster
- MBA or equivalent preferred
