Strategic Finance Business Partner

As Finance Business Partner you will provide finance support to the Managing Director of the JM´s Formaldehyde Business Unit and their Commercial teams. You will support the commercial finance activities globally, manage the Operations Finance BP and act as an interface with the JM Global Solutions (JMGS) finance network. 

Key responsibilities  

• Provide commercial and strategic financial support to the Managing Director and the commercial teams 

• Communicate and translate financial data clearly and provide valuable advice, challenge and support through strategic insight to drive business performance Review monthly results and forecasting to ensure submissions are in line with expectations 

• Understand how Formaldehyde is performing commercially compared to its competitors  

• Lead the financial budgeting process and challenge the business on key assumptions  

• Partner with the demand manager to prepare rolling sales forecasts incl. evaluation and mitigation of risks 

• Lead the conversation on margin improvement 

• Review and ‘future proof’ pricing  

• Act as interface between the Business and the JMGS finance activities supporting the Business Unit 

• Contribute as a member of the Formaldehyde Business Team, providing finance partnership 

• Work with commercial team to gather financial data for investment appraisal models including challenging and validating the credibility of the data 

• Provide financial leadership on customer profitability using new analytics tools and cost to serve modelling 

Who you are 

We believe you are an experienced financial business partner with a strategic mindset. Key to delivery within this role will be working directly with senior leaders on various projects, strategic thinking of the business direction, and managing Business Unit performance over multiple measures. You therefore need to be a highly customer-oriented person with very good communication skills. You have a strong drive for results, work in a structured and organized way and have an eye for details whilst seeing the bigger picture. A good level of Swedish and English is essential to be successful in this role.
