About the Role

A leading creative company specialising in dance and animation productions is seeking a talented Senior Composer to join their team. This role involves creating original compositions for dynamic performances that blend movement and visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in composing for various media, with a particular focus on dance and animation.

Responsibilities:

• Compose original music for dance and animation acts, including two segments of 2-4 minutes each
• Create instrumental or orchestral music overlays for existing tracks
• Incorporate sound effects to enhance animated storytelling, similar to film scoring techniques
• Perform simple editing tasks related to the musical compositions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a composer, particularly in dance, animation, or film scoring
• Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in musical styles and ability to enhance visual storytelling
• Proficiency in music composition software and digital audio workstations
• Excellent understanding of sound design and its application in enhancing animated content
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
