Senior System Engineer Eastern/Central

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities include:

• Contribute to the development, testing and monitoring of data processing pipelines in Python and Java. 
• Contribute to the automation of development processes.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards and various frontends to present data summaries. 
• Build and maintain the team’s infrastructure to run complex functionality at large scale and in a distributed manner.
• Co-supervise the team’s release and testing processes.
• Collaborate with our partner OCI operations team on data availability, resource provisioning, etc. 
• Occasionally evaluate deployment practices and data storage architectures to improve operations.

Your qualifications

• Master’s of PhD Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the design, development and operations of distributed systems incl. Spark and container platforms incl. Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture, ML model hosting strategies, and model testing techniques is a plus. 
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python and Java development, with a focus on writing clean, efficient and maintainable code, following best engineering practices. (Scala and Go are a plus).
• Experience with implementing and deploying software on cloud (OCI is a plus).
• Familiarity with version control practices (Git), containers; MLOps is a plus.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automating testing, integration, deployment.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,800 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
