The Opportunity
Portland Tractor Inc. is looking for a motivated Parts Sales Specialist to join our team in Washougal, Washington. As the Parts Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the handling of incoming Parts calls, providing technical and sales support to our customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Parts Sales Specialist your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain regional/location revenue and margin targets
- Provide pricing and availability of parts to our customers as requested
- Offer customers multiple solutions when available
- Follow up on outstanding quotes, closing all possible orders
- Manage key parts customers
- Communicate effectively with support teams, including Inventory and Administration
- Manage the ordering and delivery of parts, upholding customer commitments
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Identify and request parts that should be added to location inventory
- Return all unauthorized inventory for credit upon receipt from customers
- Participate in the training and mentoring of additional personnel when hired
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- Previous parts sales or related industry experience is considered a strong asset
- Mechanical knowledge of the heavy machinery or parts industry is an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Superior skills in organization and time planning, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization
- Confident self-starter and team player

The base pay range for this role is: $50,000 to $70,000 per year based on experience.
This is an onsite role based in Washougal, Washington.
