As a key member of the Supply Chain Organization, the Production Planner will be responsible for managing the day to day of the production schedule and to meet/exceed customer requirements while obtaining company objectives for OTD and Inventory.  Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of manufactured material through the CAM production facility located in Berea Ohio.

The Job:

• Analyze MRP output for manufactured products and create/maintain work orders.

• Report and escalate production concerns and part shortages

• Provide a monthly production plan that reflects plant capacity and customer demand.

• Adjust MRP parameters such as lot size, planning periods, Min/Max quantities, etc. optimizing production flow and reducing material handling.

• Work across departments to understand critical work requests ahead and behind targets to mitigate risks to schedule and customer on time delivery.

• Provide scheduling and delivery updates to customer service reps and others on an as needed basis.

• Additional duties as required, within the realm of planning and supply chain management.

• MRP/ERP experience, JDE a plus

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents, technical procedures or operating procedures.

• Knowledge of basic manufacturing operations and process flows.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• 5+ years of manufacturing scheduling experience

Certifications

APICS certification preferred.
