Global PBWM and Investments - Strategy Lead

ING is committed to build and grow Private Banking, Wealth Management (PBWM) & Investments as true end-to-end pillar in ING’s Global Retail organisation with a strong leverage on ING’s leading position as pan European digital bank. ING aims to provide a digitally supported proposition, offering a range of wealth and investment solutions for Private Banking clients as well as Private Individual and Business Banking clients.
ING has an appetite to double global investment fee income. We aim to achieve that by increasing investment penetration, leveraging our large-scale private individual segment and entrepreneurs served by the business banking segment. Considering the industry landscape, we see a unique opportunity for ING to leapfrog by leveraging on capabilities already in place at ING.

Your Role & Impact
As Strategy Lead, you will support the Global Head of PBWM & Investments in:
- Defining and cascading down the PBWM and investments strategy, managing execution roadmaps around target operating model program. Including commercial performance, financial results, and first line risk and regulatory responsibilities
- Defining and translating the PBWM & Investments vision into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes
- Driving global prioritization of PBWM & investments initiatives and aligning cross-functional teams
- Leading a team of Change Execution professionals with expertise in investments and private banking
- Managing complex stakeholder environments across countries and departments
- Ensuring seamless integration of key initiatives across the ING organization
- Tracking progress, resolving impediments, and ensuring delivery of strategic objectives

Your problem analysis and judgment skills enable you to develop complex and non-standard analyses, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
You foster an empowering culture by creating a learning environment and being investigative and quick to learn. Your ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences ensure clear understanding and alignment across teams.
Furthermore:
- 10+ years experience in an international setting in the financial industry
- Proven experience in driving business performance and generating impact in complex (senior) stakeholder landscape
- Understanding of the Investments domain, its core products, business models and client propositions (incl. e.g., brokerage, mutual funds, other value chains and distribution methods)
- Experience with balancing client, 1st and 2nd line interests
- Excellent project management and data driven problem solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
