08/01/2025The Summer School Administrator oversees and plans for all functions of Academy District 20 Summer School for students in grades Pre-K – 12.The following statements are illustrative of the essential functions of the job and other key duties that may be required. Reports consistently for work as scheduled
Performs other duties as assigned
Attains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance Standards
Designs and develops programming for students at the elementary, middle, and high school level
Determines the effectiveness of courses offered to all students
Hires site coordinators and teaching staff for summer school
Maintains and manages summer school budget
Oversees all functions related to summer school
Prepares and presents annual summer school report to the Board of Education
Provides professional learning and training for site coordinators
Works collaboratively with school principals and departments to develop learning opportunities for students
