Human Resources Generalist
Traditions Hospitality Group is looking for a dedicated and people-centered Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team. This full-scope position plays a key role in supporting our employees and leadership by managing day-to-day HR functions—from onboarding and orientation to compliance, benefits administration, and more. ✨ Key Responsibilities
🔹 New Hire Orientation & Onboarding
- Lead new hire orientation sessions that embody the Traditions culture and values.
- Coordinate onboarding schedules and materials for all new team members.
- Ensure completion of required paperwork, system entry, and onboarding checklists.
🔹 General HR Operations
- Maintain accurate employee files and records in the HRIS.
- Respond to employee inquiries on policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support the uniform program, badge issuance, and employee tools distribution.
🔹 Policy Compliance & Documentation
- Uphold and apply policies and procedures in alignment with company and legal standards.
- Track I-9s, EEO, and safety training records for audit readiness.
- Assist with implementation of safety initiatives and HR trainings.
🔹 Benefits & Leave Coordination
- Guide employees through benefits enrollment and changes.
- Administer leave requests including FMLA, personal, and medical leaves.
- Communicate deadlines and updates to employees in a clear and timely manner.
🔹 Recruitment Support
- Post job openings on internal and external platforms.
- Schedule candidate interviews and coordinate onboarding logistics.
- Assist with job fairs and employee referral programs.
🧰 What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or Administrative Support
- High school diploma or GED required; degree in HR or related field preferred
- Working knowledge of HR practices, laws, and confidentiality protocols
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience a plus
- 21+ years of age required
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming license
- Must be able to obtain an ABLE license
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
