Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to support the GPI program’s SEIT Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Lead Engineer to define the test events in support of technology maturation.
This position is 100% on site in Chandler, AZ.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work under general direction for the SEIT TMRR Lead to clearly and concisely explain how test events contribute to Technology Maturation in the form of Technology Readiness Level (TRL)
- Collaborate with senior systems engineers, and other disciplines to support the development of the NGI deliverables
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 5 years of related engineering experience; or a Master’s degree in STEM with 3 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in STEM with no experience
- Interim Secret DoD security clearance, or higher – Most work is performed in a closed area
- Experience demonstrating understanding of Systems Engineering
- General understanding of all design disciplines
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical personnel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active US DoD Secret security clearance, or higher
- Systems Engineering
- Work fast paced development programs
- Sysml or Cameo Experience
