Additional Information
Work Environment: Work primarily in an office environment with some work on the central fill and pharmacy warehouse production areas. The temperature range for the pharmacy facilities is 70 to 75 degrees. There is a possibility to support other Orlando Distribution warehouses for special projects, where temperatures range from 35° to the ambient Florida summer temperature.
Hours of Work: We support a flexible schedule to meet the student’s class schedule, and in return we require a commitment of at least 20 hours per week. Depending on the student’s availability and project work, up to 40 hours per week may be available (e.g., during the summer).

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. The bonus for this position is 8 hours of pay when a new associate joins Publix prior to July 1. There is no bonus in the first year for associates hired after July 1. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to 8 hours’ pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.

Required Qualifications
- Junior, Senior, or graduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to work 20 or more hours weekly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation.
- Working knowledge of Excel (knowledge of Access, Outlook, and Word is a plus).
- Desire and ability to pick up additional computer skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- A desire to learn and grow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current or prior Publix work experience
- Prior internship experience
- Graduating December 2026 or later
