What you'll do...

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete work assignments and set priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.
• Use company policies, data, and resources to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and communicate progress effectively.
• Manage freight flow by moving, loading, and scanning freight using manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, lift pacers), and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with cold chain and species requirements, and keep work areas organized by stacking and moving empty pallets.
• Utilize warehouse management systems, terminal scales, and scanners for order picking and material handling.

Ethical Standards and Conduct:

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Implement action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply ethical practices in daily business processes.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $28.80* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
