What You Will Do

We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Director of Finance Systems & Transformation to lead the evolution of our finance technology landscape. This role will serve as a key liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring the seamless operation, enhancement, and transformation of our core financial applications—including Oracle Fusion, Concur, Brex, and FloQast.

You will play a pivotal role in driving automation and AI-enabled initiatives to streamline financial operations, accelerate the month-end close, simplify reporting, and enhance data analytics capabilities. This is a high-impact role for a techno-functional leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

As our first in-house hire for this function, you will play a critical role in transitioning from consultant-based support to an internal team, bridging the gap between IT and Finance to ensure seamless system implementations and enhancements.
Serve as the functional owner and subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion, Concur, Brex, and FloQast.
Partner with Finance and IT teams to manage system enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution.
Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for financials systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Lead and execute transformation initiatives focused on automation, AI, and process optimization.
Drive continuous improvement in financial close, reporting, and analytics processes.
Support system upgrades, testing, and documentation in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to support evolving business needs.
Develop and maintain governance over finance systems and data integrity.
Provide training and support to finance users to maximize system adoption and efficiency.

8+ years of progressive experience in finance systems, transformation, or related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials is required.
Experience with Concur, Brex, and FloQast is highly preferred.
Proven track record of leading finance transformation initiatives using automation and/or AI.
Deep understanding of financial processes including Consolidation, GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and close/reporting cycles.
Strong knowledge of internal controls/SOX and financial reporting systems framework in a public company setting is preferred.
Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience working in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field required.
CPA, MBA, or Master’s in Information Systems is a plus.
