Raytheon has an immediate need for a Senior Product Manager within APC starting in Dallas, TX and moving to McKinney, TX this fall. This is a key role leading Integrated Product Teams to ensure successful execution of multiple programs in the Naval Power SSBU.
What You Will Do
Successful candidate will drive overall management of the programs within the factory and be a the main point of contact between factory operations and program operations.
Product Managers own any pool and APC overhead funded activities such as process fixes, test station fixes, HPU continuous improvements, etc.
Product Managers report out on KPIs (i.e. HPUs, yields), are accountable for program factory delivery commits, cost, schedule, and quality, and own all action plans to improve these metrics.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Earned value certified
CAM experience
Experience working development or transition to production programs
Familiarity with manufacturing and data analytics tools such as PRISM/APEX, CMES, Kinaxis, and PowerBI
Experience generating EACs, providing cost variance analysis, and managing risk and opportunities
Familiarity with documentation systems such as Common PDM to validate As-Built configurations, alternates, ECNs, effectivities, and change history
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to use data and information to convey a concise message to team members
Effective communicator, able to develop relationships and work with personnel at all organizational levels, functional stakeholders, and internal/external customers
Comfortable interfacing with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service.
