Pay Rate: $10.00 - $13.00

Job Description: 

Student Employment Interns will support the Student Employment Team within Human Resources and their ongoing operational and outreach efforts. We are looking for someone that is outgoing, with high energy and willingness to try new things! This internship requires quite a bit of networking, collaborating, content creation, and data entry. The selected Student Employment Interns must be comfortable with computers, being on camera, and networking in crowds! We also create opportunities for the Student Employment Interns to explore other areas of Human Resources during their internship. Students who participate in this internship are expected to complete a project and presentation for HR Leadership at the end of their internship. 

Job Responsibilities Include: 

- Complete data entry, employment processing, and data cleaning as assigned, including I-9 Processing; Offer Extended Data Cleaning; Pending Worker Data Cleaning; Hours Worked Monitoring 
- Support Human Resources Front Desk (if scheduling allows)  
- Shadow Human Resources Teams on Rotating Basis + Provide Support for Specific Projects 
- Assist with hiring event planning, coordination, and execution as needed for Student Employment
- Assist with content development and execution for social media, web, text, and email platforms as needed for Student Employment 
- Assist with planning, coordination and/or execution of miscellaneous events/tabling as needed for Student Employment 
- Promote student employment on social media, at campus activities, and with other campus organizations

  • Provide general office assistance and support  
  • Greet clients and visitors with excellent customer service; answer inquiries and provide information 
  • Maintain files and reports and ensure confidentiality of information  
  • Assist with various projects, activities or tasks as needed  
  • Ability to comply with University policies  
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance 
  • Other duties as assigned
