JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager of Retail Construction & Facilities Management reports to the Director of Retail Construction & Facilities Management and is responsible for project managing the design, planning, construction, and facilities maintenance of 70+ Sunnyside dispensaries and Cresco Facilities nationwide. You will manage project budgets, oversee new construction of our retail stores, and remodels to improve existing retail stores, and facilities projects and Preventive Maintenance. On the day-to-day you will oversee all project management, manage external vendors to ensure the functionality of all building systems, approve contracts, and oversee contractors, all while ensuring timely updates to Retail Management and proper tracking of construction projects and facility issues from inception to completion. You will lead designated construction and facilities projects to meet timelines and maintain operations of our dispensaries. At Sunnyside, we believe the employee experience is paramount to all. As a Project Manager of Retail Construction & Facilities Management, you will have:
- Experience leading the full project management lifecycle in retail construction and remodels.
- Budget responsibility supporting retail store construction projects and facility maintenance.
- Skills in vendor relations, project management, inventory management and managing key relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Skills in strategic thinking, decision making and complex problem solving
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Support the direction of construction and facilities long-term and short-term plans by managing vendor relations and forecasting projects and property upgrades to maintain operations and meet budget goals.
- Manage and execute against the construction and facilities budget and make recommendations to meet or exceed budget goals.
- Oversee and manage construction and facilities projects from conception to completion meeting contractual conditions of performance.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite construction, remodels & facilities to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinate construction with General Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with plans and codes.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and work with architects, building officials, landlords vendors and contractors for permit approvals on all projects, when necessary.
