The Communications team at Arthrex is growing with our new StudioX open and we are actively searching for a Project Manager – Media Production.   Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™.

 

Main Objective:

Provide oversight through prioritization, planning, and successful delivery of Media Production projects for Medical Education, Product Management, Marketing, Human Resources and other departments. Ensure efficient and effective execution of a portfolio of media content. Lead a team to supervise for coordinated team efforts to Help Surgeons Treat their Patients Better.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with Arthrex partners to produce high-quality digital media that educates our audiences.
  • Contribute to strategic planning sessions with Media Production and requesting stakeholders to determine the project scope, objective, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Production Coordinators and Producers to create and maintain trackable projects within appropriate project management systems.
  • Consult with Producer, Post-Production Supervisor, and creative teams on recommended approaches for project strategy, plan, and deliverables.
  • Formulate timelines and deadlines for projects and productions.
  • Survey project statuses using Media Production and Arthrex product management tools for entire project life cycle management.
  • Communicate project statuses and updates to key stakeholders on overall development and constraints of scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Liaise with the requesting stakeholders and creative teams, driving decisions and proposing the resolution of open items.
  • Propose ideas during the Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production processes to overcome challenges and strategize the best use of resources.
  • Develop financial aspects of assigned projects with key performance indicator reporting relative to project progress.
  • Create and communicate best practices for project requests and intake in cooperation with Production Coordinators and Producers.
  • Learn and understand the capabilities of the media production department to align with the Producer and creative teams on project goals and strategies.
  • Evolve knowledge of media production tools and best practices to continuously improve quality standards and efficiencies.
  • Connect regularly with the project stakeholders and the marketing project coordinators to ensure all projects stay on track, within budget, and meet assigned deadlines.
  • Communicate regularly with Media Production management on project developments and statuses.
  • Align the financial and chronology aspects of a production with the department and company goals.
  • Develop and grow relationships with collaborative departments to gain consent and compliance with media production practices.
  • Define and incorporate the voice of the customer into media production project plans and process visibility.
  • Advance and implement knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile (SCRUM), and Six Sigma (Lean) methodologies and software practices as required.
  • Research and recommend project management software and solutions for efficiency and consistency and improvement of the media productions workflow.
  • Explore statistics and project status reports and retrospectives for root cause analysis and to inform decision-making.
  • Originate process flow charts to educate and inform collaborative departments.
  • Identify and execute short-term brainstorming and implementation sessions to improve existing process.
  • Develop written standards and guidelines for reproducibility and consistency across all team members.
  • Analyze needs for technical and systems training, application utilization needs, and technical learning objectives.
  • Align with Media Production leadership and Organizational Change Management to design, develop, and deliver technical training programs, and specialized workshops for media production employees and collaborative departments.
