What You’ll Be Doing:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Test Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Test Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and execution of electrical tests on electronic components, systems, and devices including our customized switch gears, electric panels and control panels. Your extensive knowledge of testing methodologies, equipment selection, and data analysis will contribute to the development of cutting-edge Amogy PowerPack systems.

• Lead the development of comprehensive test plans to verify the functionality, and reliability of electrical components or systems given the requirements.
• Select and procure appropriate test equipment to conduct , including HV/LV power supplies, automated test systems and electrical test instruments.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and system engineers defining end-of-line test and diagnostic routines for our electrical systems to ensure production quality.
• Set up and calibrate complex test equipment, overseeing the accurate execution of electrical tests.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues or failures encountered during testing, employing a systematic approach to identify root causes.
• Utilize advanced statistical analysis and data visualization tools to interpret and present test results effectively.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and project managers, to communicate test findings and drive product improvements.
• Develop and implement automated test scripts or programs to streamline the testing process, enhance productivity, and ensure repeatability.
• Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and repair of test equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and accuracy of measurements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in electrical testing methodologies.

Requirements

The minimum requirements we seek:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of industrial experience or a related field; master's degree preferred with 7 years of industrial experience.
• Proven track record as a Senior Electrical Test Engineer or a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership and technical expertise.
• Direct experience working on quality assurance of industrial control systems.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical testing methodologies, equipment, and tools.
• Proficiency in using advanced test equipment, such as high-speed oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies and automated test systems such as LabView.
• Experience in conducting complex analysis of electrical parameters and interpreting test results.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
• Strong programming skills in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and experience with test automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in executing tests and documenting results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The salary pay range for this position is $127,000 - $145,000. The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in Houston,TX. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, job experience and physical location.
