About the Position

Dimagi recently received generous funding to develop a new product called CommCare Connect. The original vision of CommCare Connect was conceived from Dimagi’s five-year strategy to amplify our impact across three areas: improve users’ jobs to improve outcomes, while also expanding our impact through exponential growth and exceeding market expectations. Dimagi is currently in the process of assembling a lean team that will be driving the product life cycle of CommCare Connect while scaling it to create impact. 

The CommCare Connect Team is currently seeking a Director of Frontline Delivery to drive forward the vision for building and delivering technology services directly to Frontline Workers. You will have the opportunity to rapidly leverage a range of skills across concept formulation, research, strategy, experiment design, partner building, etc - all while making a real, positive impact in bringing Dimagi’s five-year strategy to make impact to life. 

Because of its highly strategic nature, the CommCare Connect team will be based out of Dimagi’s Global Strategy Division and work closely with Dimagi’s C-Suite - including its Chief Executive Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. This position is open to remote employment but will be required to structure working hours to overlap with EST working hours.

This is especially true in the first year of this work. As we learn more about this work and our team grows, candidates should expect changes in responsibilities. 

Strategy & Vision

• Inform and drive the vision and roadmap of CommCare Connect’s approach and strategy in engaging Community Health Workers directly, including by developing and sharing strategy documents, team presentations, etc. This will aim at enabling the users (primarily Community Health Workers) to get access to high-impact, well-paid service delivery programs which they can undertake in addition to their current responsibilities.
• Effectively resource project work to delivery team members, and be willing to potentially manage a small team down the line. 

Program and Research

• Define research questions to test different hypotheses of CommCare Connect, such as investigating Community Health Workers capacity for additional paid work.
• Execute research questions through a mix of delegation to other teams at Dimagi, direct field research, and desk-based research using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Evaluate different interventions as candidates for CommCare Connect programs, and prioritizing among them. 
• Effectively coordinate with the Product Team in influencing product design of CommCare Connect for Direct to Frontline Worker use cases, including through synthesized qualitative and quantitative research to identify and present general market trends and strategic challenges for Frontline Workers.
• Be the point person in owning the analysis of national Community Health Worker programs that Dimagi has traction in (system design, workforce performance characteristics, payments, and future planning), and drive internal collaboration and documentation around learnings
• Be point person to Dimagi’s Research and Data team in shaping CommCare Connect research projects and study designs that will generate results to be disseminated into peer-reviewed journals/conferences.
