Job Description:

Datasite is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team and support our office in Costa Rica. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the HR department, contributing to various HR functions and supporting the organization's overall success.

This is a full-time, hybrid position (minimum 3 days/week in office); our office is located in Heredia. Remote work location must have high-speed internet access.

Responsibilities:

  

  • Fielding of employee relations inquiries, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner and escalate critical matters in a timely fashion to the appropriate resource
  • Support talent management initiatives, including performance management and career development
  • Manage and accurately process team member and organization updates in our HRIS system (Workday) to capture new hires, terminations, job changes, pay changes, incentive/bonuses, leaves, and absences administration
  • Partner and communicate effectively with management
  • Proactively manage, coach and recommend resolutions to a range of employee issues
  • Create and implement performance plans, employee relations initiatives, or investigations to ensure a positive and fair work environment, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and ensuring risk mitigation
  • Enhance the employee experience by resolving issues promptly, recommending new programs and benefits, and organizing team-building activities.
  • Ensure exit interviews are conducted for departing employees and any company- issued, badges and equipment are returned

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English languages.
  • 2+ years Human Resources experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good sound judgement
  • Partner and communicate with senior management
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast pace environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with Workday
  • Previous experience working in global technology organizations
