Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to assist with the transition of paper employee files to an online file-sharing system. This 4-week internship provides hands-on experience in HR compliance, document management, and administrative processes. The intern will play a key role in scanning, filing, and auditing employee records to ensure accuracy, organization, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Additional HR tasks may be assigned as needed.
Key Accountabilities:
· Scan, file, and organize employee documents into the company’s online file-sharing system.
· Audit employee records to ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant with legal and company standards.
· Verify accuracy and completeness of scanned documents, ensuring correct categorization and storage.
· Maintain confidentiality and data security when handling sensitive employee information.
· Identify and report missing or incomplete files, working with the HR team to resolve discrepancies.
· Assist with compliance efforts by ensuring employee records meet regulatory requirements.
Support additional HR administrative tasks as needed, including data entry, recordkeeping, and special projects.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with file management systems.
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
