Imaging Technician - Swing Shift (Secret Cleared)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Imaging Technician to join our team. The Imaging Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, capturing high-quality images, and processing them according to project requirements. This role is critical to ensuring accurate imaging results that support a variety of applications, including medical, industrial, or digital archiving projects, depending on the organization's focus. This position is located in Southeast Washington DC and requires an active Secret clearance or higher.
Candidates must be available to work an 8 hour shift between 6am-6am.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain imaging systems such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scanners, digital cameras, or other specialized imaging equipment.
• Capture, process, and enhance images while adhering to organizational or project-specific standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure imaging requirements and deadlines are met.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records of imaging activities, including equipment calibration and quality checks.
• Comply with all safety protocols and standards, particularly when working with radiation-emitting equipment or hazardous materials.
• Provide training or support to team members on proper imaging techniques and equipment operation.
• Stay updated on advancements in imaging technology and techniques to improve workflow and outcomes.
