Job Summary:
Oversees diagnostic imaging services and patient scheduling, including program development, financial management, operational performance, clinical performance and human resources. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Leads with an operational focus, setting strategy, objectives, and policies.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Ten years' diagnostic imaging experience: Preferred
- Five years' leadership experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certification of Radiologic Technologists (CRT) in state of practice: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Creates an annual strategic plan that provides direction for the department with high standard goals pertaining to patient outcomes and expanded market share. Directs strategic plan fulfillment throughout the year. Responsible for administrative oversight of and supervisory responsibilities related to imaging services.
- Works toward the continual improvement of patient experience and satisfaction within the diagnostic imaging program. Designs, develops and promotes comprehensive patient service initiatives.
- Develops operational and capital budgets, while considering short-term and long-term planning for new programs, projects, technology, staff training and process improvements. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Continually monitors performance and champions the ongoing design, redesign and improvement of operational and clinical processes. Coordinates and collaborates with all providers to ensure quality and seamless care-delivery processes.
- Supervises diagnostic imaging personnel. Oversees recruitment efforts, hiring processes, evaluations and leadership trainings. Serves as management coach and mentor.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
