Paid Bi-Weekly

**Anticipated Vacancy**

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be willing and able to work in Lake City, FL
  • Must have excellent computer skills
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must have 2 years of verifiable managerial experience
  • Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a ‎Level II background check and drug test

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in a long-term care facility
  • Experience managing housekeeping and/or laundry services

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for the oversight of the VA Medical Center, AHCA & ALF inspection standards
  • Oversee and supervise custodial and laundry staff assigned to the Domiciliary
  • Plan and schedule staff to meet the needs of the Home as related to cleanliness, sanitary conditions and appearance to enhance infection control efforts of the facility
  • Train staff in methods of work and operation of equipment 
  • Ensure supplies and equipment for upkeep are stocked and available to staff and residents
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, and initiate purchase orders to avoid depletion
  • Instruct and work with residents of the Domiciliary in the proper cleaning and/or care of their room 
  • Assist custodial workers and laundry personnel in the maintenance of sanitary conditions, cleanliness, and appearance to ensure a pleasing environment
  • Responsible for employee evaluations, discipline and approving time in compliance with Personnel Rules
  • Perform other related duties as required
