Responsibilities:

• Responsible for obtaining demographic information and verification of eligibility, benefits and all pre cert requirements for most outpatient procedures.
• Provide up front collection information to the outpatient registration area.
• Responsible for making judgmental decisions concerning accounts in order to secure payment arrangements.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year registration experience within a healthcare facility (preferred).
• Experience with personal computer applications or data input terminates (required).
• Ability to utilize a calculator and type 35 words per minute (required).
