The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $ 100,152 - 166,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

• Define and Develop Verification & Validation plan, metrics, and other documentation to demonstrate that the system satisfies stakeholders’ requirements.

• Lead execution of Verification & Validation test plan to demonstrate compliance with System Engineering requirements.

• Document and Analyze Verification & Validation results.

• Recommend corrective actions and obtain stakeholder acceptance of validation results.

• Define and Develop strategies for Verification & Validation including the use of simulators, emulators, and physical testing.

• Log defects and issues found during V&V activities and track to closure.

• Promote the use of model-based systems engineering approaches and tools.

• Mentor junior engineers.

• Collaborate closely and stay aligned with product management, mechatronics engineering, software architecture, R&D, and regional engineering teams.

What We are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• 10 years' experience as a Software Engineer, Software Quality Engineer, Validation Engineer, Project Manager, or related occupation.

• 3 years’ experience with C, C++, Python, LDRA (Liverpool Data Research Associates), TCA (Test Coverage Analyzer), Rational Clear Case, Clear Quest, SVN, PVCS, Ethernet, MIL-STD 1553, ARINC-429, KEIL uvision3, ASPIRE (Aero Standard Peer Inspection Review Environment), Tornado, JIRA, Rally, RVT (Rational Visual Test), Putty, full cycle V-model systems, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as IBM DOORs, and system verification and validation including emulation, simulation and physical testbeds.

• Up to 10% travel required to various unanticipated locations.

• Pre-employment processing for this position requires drug testing and passing background checks.

• Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Dematic Corp. Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI.
