Your Role:

You will be responsible for the relationship and talent acquisition strategy for the business lines you support; developing an understanding of the assigned business lines and developing active sourcing and attraction strategies to hire top talent. You will support internal and external recruiting needs by completing all aspects of candidate generation through hire. Role levels you will support are mid to senior level roles. The successful candidate will be a consultative partner to the business and a trusted advisor to candidates. 

 

  • Manage the recruitment process from kick-off to offer acceptance, partnering with the hiring manager, interview team, and HR colleagues.
  • Create and implement role-specific recruitment strategies to drive top talent.
  • Drive sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies for each requisition.
  • Develop trusted relationships with candidates and the business to deliver an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience, and influence talent decisions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to advise on role competencies to ensure efficient interviews and utilization of Millipore Sigma’s high impact culture.
  • Proactively look for innovative ways to improve and/or implement recruitment tools and processes.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience.
  • Precise interviewing skills with ability to screen and assess talent for both technical and soft skills.
  • Knowledge of compensation and equity concepts, benefits, immigration, and relocation benefits.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management tools, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media sites, etc.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to provide consultative advice to hiring managers and comfortable interacting with senior leaders to influence decisions.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting within the life science, electronics, or biotech/biopharma industry.
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and provide clarity to ambiguous situations.
  • Strong organization, time management, and process and project management skills.
