Purpose of Role

Under Armour’s vision is to be the #1 Performance Athletic Brand in the world. To help achieve this goal, we are building a progressive Financial Planning & Analysis team whose focus is developing core competencies in the areas of FP&A, Decision Support, and Strategy Execution. The Sr. Mgr, Corporate FP&A will be a key member of our team providing visibility to the P&L, results, trends, & KPI’s in addition to owning and helping to shape strategic decisions with the functions. This individual will contribute to the financial success and growth of our organization. This role is dynamic and works closely with Finance leadership and various departments in shaping the financial strategy of the organization and ensuring its long-term financial success.

Your Impact

• Provide financial, analytical and decision support. Improve decision making by creating linkage between investments and returns.
• Provide financial leadership through implementing financial models for strategic budget/forecast management, investment analytics and support.
• Lead the financial planning/forecasting process as well as develop and lead accountability reviews with the executive leadership team.
• Lead in-depth financial, variance and trending analysis for key cost drivers and performance metrics. Interpret results and articulate actionable recommendations to maximize profitability and ensure financial plans are achieved. 
• Develop and implement financial models for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Provide visibility into opportunities and risks as well as thought leadership on how to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Implement effective cash management strategies to mitigate financial risks
• Identify and assess financial risks associated with l operations, implementing strategies to ensure financial stability
• Stay informed about economic trends and industry developments
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Provide guidance and support for professional development opportunities for team members
• Coordinate and manage regional audits, ensuring compliance with local financial reporting standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships and connections between the global FP&A team.
• Provide opportunities for development to direct report(s) to build a pipeline of future FP&A leaders at UA.
• Contribute to the development and execution of long-term financial strategies aligned with the organization’s goals

Qualifications

• BA/BS required, MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or Business Analysis.
•  Consumer Products, Technology or hi-growth environment experience preferred.
• Typically 3 - 5 years of management experience; or equivalent experience as the subject matter lead or expert in area of expertise
• Strong team player with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others outside of their direct-reporting lines.
