Job Description

THIS POSITION CAN BE LOCATED IN EITHER PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL OR ORANGEBURG, NY

Summary:   The purpose of this position is to provide financial leadership, drive operational initiatives, reporting, and modeling expertise for assigned operations and corporate end-users.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Review company’s cash account structure and bank relationships and determine opportunities and strategies to more efficiently control working capital requirements and minimize borrowing levels or maximize investments

• Responsible for daily cash positioning, concentration of funds, funding requirements and short-term investments and borrowings

• Preparation/Ownership of 13 week rolling Cashflow Forecasting model using tools and systems to improve effectiveness and process accuracy

• Oversee Cash Management Development and on-going maintenance and development

• Identify technology to effectively manage, measure and execute daily transactions

• Responsible for Foreign Exchange System
• Monthly review of Bank Account Analysis
• Issue and maintain data base for Letters of Credit

• Control and coordinate all company accounts
  • Update resolution
  • Open/Close accounts as needed
  • Responsible for records of all authorized signers

• Risk Management Support

• Support VP Treasurer on Reporting/Compliance requirements under Credit Agreement
• Support VP Treasurer on Real Estate activity (leases, sale/leasebacks)

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

            Education:       BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics

Experience:     8+ years of progressive experience with at least 3 years in a Treasury leadership role of sufficient scope and complexity

    Skills:             

• Requires demonstrated success leading a Finance/Treasury organization as a partner with operations and corporate leadership in understanding key financial metrics, forecasts and trends.  
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to use sound judgment and challenge assumptions when appropriate
• Proven ability to influence senior management as relates to conclusions based upon analysis and findings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, techniques, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven flexibility and ability to cope with pressure resulting from changing priorities and meeting tight deadlines and reporting requirements

• Must demonstrate an effective communication skill/style to present complex ideas in a compelling and comprehensive manner.
• Exhibit high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling and having access to sensitive information.
• Extensive computer experience using MS Excel and other MS Office products.
• Strong understanding of both financial and operational processes.
