Draft Job Description: Sr. Director, Global Talent Management
The Sr. Director, Global Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness leads strategic talent management efforts for the company. This role develops and implements an integrated talent management strategy that includes global team member and leadership development, performance management and talent planning, and organizational development and effectiveness offerings to support key business priorities and talent imperatives for leaders and teams across Micron. This role drives enterprise-level initiatives supporting culture enhancement, listening strategies, team and organizational efficiency, organizational design, global onboarding & integration, and custom interventions in partnership with functional senior leaders and Global Executive Business Partners (GEBPs).

Lead leadership development, organization management, and global learning strategies and program development:
- Create and implement global leadership development strategies and programs. Translate strategic business and People priorities into talent and various learning approaches and plans.
- Manage business-focused global development, learning, and talent solutions through Micron Leadership Accelerated and other learning programs.
- Collaborate closely with GEBPs, key People Organization functions, and senior business leader stakeholders to design and implement an integrated approach to critical talent coaching and development.
- Continually assess talent and development programs and processes through globally diverse and agile teams. Perform customer needs analyses to identify improvement opportunities, ensure program relevancy to evolving business needs and focus areas. Assess program effectiveness and impact to drive improvements in talent management and retention.
- Conduct external research and benchmarking to ensure strategy, content and delivery models are positioned to deliver best-in-class results.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Micron functions (TPG, GO, CBO, SGA) and external partners to share best practices and drive talent innovation.
- Develop worldwide strategies for introducing new employees that promote smooth integration into the team, aiming for sustained achievement and employee retention.
- Define and prioritize objectives, implementation plans, resourcing models, milestones, and measures of success.
- Design and execute strategy to establish awareness and build commitment to personal development across the management and executive population.
- Coach and develop senior leaders, managers, and team members.
- Lead global efforts for organizational transformation, change management and communications. Use regional and functional events to drive culture initiatives.
- Design and deploy effective feedback methods for leadership development curriculums.
- Drive continuous effectiveness in Global Learning and Development:
- Strategically oversee and drive the effectiveness of Micron University as the employee-facing hub for learning, On-The-Job training resources, and external community skilling outreach.
- Deploy Micron University resources externally in support of global expansion initiatives for community skill-building.
- Increase the deployment of AI tools for learning reminders and learning engagement dashboards.
- Design an executive leadership development program that cultivates high-potential leaders and ensures a robust pipeline of future executives.
- Engage Micron employees in global learning events and promote a continuous learning culture.
- Drive enterprise Workforce Development efforts in partnership with functional Workforce Development teams.
- Oversee Global Training Council collaboration with functional Workforce Development teams to provide personalized career development resources for employee reskilling.
- Offer dynamic and effective Mentoring and Career Development programming, including iAspire, with consistent high standards of global content, delivery, and outcomes.
- Successfully deliver and continually adapt Enterprise-level Onboarding and Job Rotation programs.
